FAQ
What should I wear?

It is best to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely so that your physiotherapist can see how you normally move. Your physiotherapist will ensure that you are comfortable throughout your assessment, but it may be necessary to expose certain body areas to allow for accurate assessment of injured sites for example shorts for a knee injury.

We can provide shorts and t-shirt if you don't have any to hand. We also have changing facilities/shower on site if you wish to change your clothes before or after your appointment.

Can I claim my physiotherapy back through my health cover?

If you have private health insurance, you can claim for your physiotherapy costs. Depending on your policy you will get varying percentages back.

How long will my appointment take?

For a musculoskeletal appointment your first consultation will take approximately between 30-45 minutes with follow up consultations generally requiring 30minutes. For women’s health appointments, your first consultation will take 60 minutes with follow up consultations generally requiring 30minutes. Extended follow up appointments are available. Our reception staff will discuss this with you to gain an understanding of the time you require when booking your consultation.
